Waving a Canadian flag as the convoy passed my community was one of the most uplifting moments of my life. After a year of despair, hope was resurrected as I realized I wasn’t alone in my beliefs.
A fantastic article. What would the world look like today, if not for the Freedom Convoy? In somewhat similar circumstances to those of the sudden collapse of the Soviet Union in December, 1991, there was really not much in the way of hopeful signs on the local, national or international scene in January, 2022 until the trucker tsunami hit North American highways. How much longer might we have waited for some other galvanizing force to emerge? It is all too easy for us to take for granted the timeliness of Tamara’s and Chris’ little inspiration, and impossible for us to gauge the magnitude of the debt of gratitude each and every one of us owes these truly historic leaders.
One of the most beautiful images I remember was one of 2 cowboys, on galloping horses, through the snow, one waving a Canadian flag and the other, an American flag. I cried and cried.
The truckers quested over many leagues facing frigid cold and perils along the way, reached the streets of Mordor where they were beset and hounded, overcame the arduous slopes of Mount Doom and cast the Ring of Covid into its heart. All hail the truckers! But for their bravery, the Age of the Orc would manifest.
Thank you for your reminder of the gratitude we feel toward the trucker convoy- we continue to stand for Tamara’s complete freedom from all charges. Such a travesty of justice.
And we continue to have hope for Canada - to rid our country of the globalist threat
I was never more proud in my life when I saw the trucks go by. I will remain forever grateful for their courage and selfless gift to stand up for our democratic rights and freedoms. We need radical political reform.
Yes, the truckers did us a great favor. The government was expanding its Covid tyranny until they came along. It was a pure power play. The government did relent but it took prisoners and bodies with them. In invoking the EA and freezing accounts we became the first country in the West to do so (along with restricting domestic mobility rights). Without accountability we can't move forward. We're not even having that conversation whereas it's in full gear in the U.S.
We're far from being out of the woods. Our cviil liberties aren't well protected b the 'Charter'. We have a lot of work to do to remedy this catastrophe.
Thanks Dr. Christian for this peek back to one of the most phenomenal times in my life as a Canadian. Every time I see a clip of those trucks rolling through small towns and big cities and seeing all the people on the roadway and on overpasses, my heart skips a beat.
All Canadians need to do now to continue The Great Uplifting is to ensure that jews once again reign supreme in the Ottawa parliament, as Trump has made it clear will happen in Washington DC, with his selection of 60% jews in his administration, and 100% rabid zionists.
Trudeau "intends" to resign - he hasn't actually resigned. To think he actually took that "medicine" - there is no way he did - that was all bad acting. Thank you Truckers, and all the Canadians that stood for freedom then and now!
The truckers were the first sign that the "unacceptable fringe minority" was not crazy. Forever grateful.

Thank you Francis for standing up and risking it all.
GOD BLESS CANADIAN TRUCKERS 🙏 AND ALL THE HONOURABLE MEN AND WOMEN STANDING WITH THEM 🙏 ❤️!

Superbly articulated remembrance of a great event in the defence of civil liberties in Canada.

The worst, I fear, is yet to come.
