So very uplifting to read this! Thank you Dr Christian.

Especially after telling sons at leading Universities to "just write what the Professor is saying, then when you are in the REAL world in a position of management then CHANGE ......." said 30 odd years ago to my sons - "brilliant" students , not my words.

One son with Asperger's (diagnosed by Mum/me when 9 months old, did go to University after a University entrance test which showed his IQ, which was not accurate as Asperger people (hate labels) have a narrower field of interests) but left and taught himself - a highly regarded Consultant in tech world.

Thank you for painting a bright picture of the future. I just hope we can get to it without too much suffering in the meantime.

I would love to see a renewal of the search for truth and excellence. I'm utterly convinced that most economics theory is built on sand, and I'm documenting a new, rigorous (but extremely simple) approach on my substack. One day, I hope I can teach keen students who are seeking truth.

Dr. Christian, have you read John Henry, Cardinal Newman's 'On the Nature and Scope of University Education', especially Discourses IV (liberal knowledge as its own end),V (its relation to other knowledge), and VI (liberal knowledge in relation to other knowledge)? -

https://www.google.ca/books/edition/The_Scope_and_Nature_of_University_Educa/T_kTAAAAIAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&printsec=frontcover

We are living the results of the denigration and elimination of liberal education from education for more 'productive' (i.e. lucrative) crafts and professions, and the inevitable loss of civilization.

I am one of the fortunate ones who enrolled early enough in the immunology course with Bryan Bridle and friends. I am really looking forward to it in a week or so. I am doing it for my own interest as I am almost retired from my current profession. Hopefully this will help sharpen up some rusty brain cells ☺️
