'17 suicides per day' should be a national emergency, so why do the rest continue to suffer in silence? "Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy. Grant us your peace."
I suffer from PTSD and I know a lot about it. I also wore a uniform for the US--for 3 decades (and knowing what I know now, wearing that uniform is enough to cause PTSD). I believe the term "shell shock" to be a highly accurate description of Traumatic Brian Injury which is different from PTSD--though the symptoms of each are largely mental i.e. those issues we relegate to the mental health people AND this compartmentalization is irresponsible.
I also have a plan for suicide--plan Z, and since I am still working on plan D I will not use plan Z unless under certain specific circumstances. This drives the VA nuts because every time they ask, this is what I tell them. The issue is not veteran suicide, the issue is we treat suicide in such a stupid manner that it makes helping people with suicidal idealizations much more difficult.
You should talk about it, plan it out with a person--all the way--all the way past that instant when death comes--those things that happen after. Those who are seriously suicidal from issues like PTSD have tunnel vision, you have to get them to see a bigger picture. But the real heart of the matter is not veterans killing themselves, the real concern is that we still let governments make men murder each other in cold blood.
Bombing with explosives and Napalm of entire villages and cities. Hiroshima, Nagasaki was a direct attack on Civilians. The several day bombing of Dresden Germany was on civilians The Geneva Convention is just words and like many many treaties the US and UK are some of the worst. Hiding behind religion while they butcher innocence... today Israel the Apartheid ,Zionist state hiding behind religion is the worst by any measure begging Americans for money while they ethnic cleanse via Genocide for 70 years.

But you know that it is not that simple and that it is actually unworkable when Western moral values tackle terrorist values and Islamic Extremist values. There is simply no such thing as a ceasefire or a peace when one side will NEVER accept the existence of the other side that must be driven "from the River to the Sea".

The Chant around the globe should be Free Palestine FROM HAMAS and Radical Islam, but, instead the chant is Free Palestine (from the Jews).
We have been manipulated for Decades by wicked Globalist that profit from creating unsolvable problems and that gain from their various industrial complexes (Military, Medical, Environmental, banking) providing solutions to the fear generated on as many sides to the unsolvable problem that they can keep encouraging.
The UN is a particularly wicked pawn in this and they have known for decades that Radical extremists are teaching hatred to children and spreading Nazi goals to exterminate (First the Jews) and all infidels. They have also known that Hospitals have been used as Human shields from which locations atrocities are perpetrated.
You fell fowl of the Medical Industrial Complex and you, of all people, should know that good and decent people are put into impossible situations; while others are fed a narrative to cheer on the impossible position that the demonized good people are put into.
So long as the Globalist Controlled Media is able to play on the common decency of good folk like yourself there will be chants of Free Palestine and give the Palestinians a Homeland. And these chants will drown out the true message needed of Free Palestine of HAMAS and other radical extremist oppressing and abusing peaceful Palestinians so that the Palestinians can live in peace and harmony once again side by side with peace loving Jews and Christians in the Land of Israel.
So long as the Globalist Controlled Media is able to play on the common decency of good people in the University of Saskatchewan and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan there will be chants that "formerly respected colleagues are engaging in activities designed to discourage and prevent children and adolescents from receiving Covid-19 vaccination contrary to the recommendations and pandemic-response efforts of Saskatchewan and Canadian public health authorities".
These chants will drown out the true messages needed like
"The m-RNA vaccine, is a new, experimental vaccine never used by humans before."
“Covid does not pose a threat to our kids. The risk of them dying of Covid is less than 0.003% – this is even less than the risk of them dying of the flu. There is no emergency in children.”
"vaccines have already caused “serious medical problems for kids” worldwide, including “a real and significantly increased risk” of myocarditis, inflammation of the heart. "

And so I ask you to carefully look at a Substack that enables a true message to get out there that is not the Globalist Media Narrative of HAMAS as Freedom fighters and Israel as oppressors of Palestinian People.

He never shared his experiences with anyone until near his death. He often woke the family in the middle of the night screaming. War is a racket which needs to be eliminated.
The image of the dramatic but subtle response of the chaplain to his sacking should be a lesson to Christian church leadership – both clergy and lay – of every militarized, so-called “christian” nation. The chaplain, after listening to the bishop’s sermon, simply hung up his cross and walked out of the door of the field hospital.
“Joyeux Noel” is an important film that deserves to be annual holiday viewing. It has ethical lessons far more powerful than the traditional holiday movies such as “It’s A Wonderful Life” and “A Christmas Carol”.
One of the lessons that the Christmas Truce tells is summarized in the concluding verse of John McCutcheon’s famous song about the event: “Christmas in the Trenches”:

And as dictator, he was given cocaine, meth, and scopolamine by his quack doctor, who he completely trusted. No wonder he was nuts.
Israel is committing war crimes today. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were war crimes because they knowingly nuked Japanese babies, toddlers, children, youth, elderly, and every other type of non-combatant. How many other war crimes can you think of?
Recently read a POW account from Viet Nam. They moved about on foot and the their captors kept them from being killed by the civilians. But surely they were all the product of hate filled propaganda. Those most responsible for the war itself never faced any accounting in this world. The only question acted on, what to do with all this blood stained money?
It seems to me that there is also a great moral danger during war. Can PTSD result from killing others?
